Beginning with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony on 1 December, anticipate a host of festive-inspired treats that range from afternoon teas and cocktail masterclasses to champagne brunches, course dinners, in-villa barbecue parties, course dinners, and more.
A Christmas Tree Lighting and A Wish Come True
Illuminate the festive season with a Christmas Tree Lighting to start off the celebrations. On the Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi Tree, peek into the ornaments made by the children from the Langkawi Autism Care Centre, who have written their Christmas wishes onto the ornaments, waiting for someone to make them come true.
The Library has been transformed into the Nutcracker Café for the season, immerse yourself in a fantasy playground, where you are invited to enjoy a Festive Afternoon Tea of mouthwatering sweet treats, freshly baked scones, and a delicious selection of seasonal savories served in true festive style with your choice of TWG Tea. There are also a la carte desserts and Christmas goodies to be purchased to add to the merriment.
On Christmas Eve, usher into Christmas with a kaleidoscope of decadent seasonal favorites, novel creations and international flavors accompanied by lively music and spectacular ocean views with a Christmas Festive Buffet at The Beach Grill. Alternatively, there are Four-Course Dinner Christmas Dinners ready to be savored at The Beach Grill, Hai Yan, and Langkawi Kitchen respectively.
There are Rockefeller oysters and homemade grouper star ravioli to be enjoyed at The Beach Grill, crab meat soup and wok-fried black angus beef at Hai Yan as well as fried snapper with honey tamarind sauce and slow-cooked lamb shank in spiced gravy at Langkawi Kitchen for your pickings.
On Christmas Day, dazzle your family and friends with a Cocktail Masterclass led by The Ritz-Carlton’s resident mixologist at Coco Beach Cafe to create delicious drinks that capture the spirit of the season.
A Sparkling White New Year for New Beginnings
Count down to the end of the year with sparkle, laughter and merry-making, beginning with a Taste of Malaysia Buffet in Langkawi Kitchen, where a buffet of the best Malaysian tastes and dishes has been curated by the chefs to present traditional and signature favorites from the states across Malaysia.
New Year’s Eve brings a BBQ Buffet Dinner complete with free-flow champagne and live music galore at the Beach Grill, that has a menu thoughtfully curated with a contemporary selection of international flavors. Alternatively, sit down to a New Year’s Eve Seven-Course Dinner at Hai Yan, where on the water’s edge, you may enjoy a delectable seven-course menu created by Jay Go, Ritz-Carlton’s Chinese Chef de Cuisine.
