Grand Opening of Mountain Village Restaurant at SS2, Petaling Jaya
Klang Valley residents are welcome to prepare themselves for authentic Nyonya dishes and indulge in a variety of local delights. Mountain Village Restaurant opened its door to serve the public with some traditional and unique Nyonya cuisines located at SS2.
People craving Nyonya cuisine or their favourite local delights do not need to travel to Malacca or Penang anymore. Mountain Village Restaurant is here to provide you delicious and pocket-friendly Nyonya meals.
Their specialities include Nyonya Kahwin, which lets you taste the combination of spiciness as well as sourness from both curry laksa and asam laksa all at once, and its 3 Layer Tea which comes in a vividly blue texture tea as it is made of butterfly pea flower, Gula Melaka and evaporated milk.
“I grew up in Malacca and have enjoyed Nyonya dishes since I was young. However, I found out that Nyonya dishes are getting pricier for the community. Hence, my wife and I decided to deliver our love of Nyonya culture to people in Klang Valley with delicious local delights at reasonable prices,” said the Mountain Village Restaurant owner and chef.
Mountain Village Restaurant also provides a variety of local delights for people interested in trying them out at a pocket-friendly price. Customers can enjoy meals at prices from as low as RM 1.50 and drinks at only RM 1.30 here. There is a huge variety of meals which you can choose from nasi lemak, nyonya mee siam, nyonya mee pedas, penang kuey teow, claypot yee mee and many more.

About Mountain Village Restaurant
A Nyonya restaurant operated by a couple originally from Malacca. The owner/head chef of the restaurant grew up in Malacca and has been working as a chef who specialises in Nyonya cuisine for more than ten years since 2011.
Mountain Village Restaurant offers Nyonya dishes and local delights such as nasi lemak, mee siam, asam laksa, chicken hor fun, three-layer tea, sour plum, kaya toast butter, fruit rojak and so on. Their speciality is the Nyonya Kahwin which is a combination of curry laksa and asam laksa. Their mission is to deliver our love of Nyonya culture to everyone through Nyonya cuisine at an affordable price.
